Dear Demobase users,

I'll have to inform you about a really tragic incident.

Joonas "|she| Haapis" Haapajärvi died on 1st March 2013 due to intracranial hemorrhage in the age of 22.

We've lost a honorable |she| member, a great old player, not to mention, my best friend.

His funeral will be held on 22nd March in our hometown, and I hope we'll all give our respect for his shortly ended life and support for his family.

A little side note:
I have decided not to run the voting for the sof2full awards because only 2 or 3 people actually nominated someone so it's obvious that this game has very little to none interest in these awards.

The last day of the year 2012 has arrived! And I'm glad that this community and this game are still alive after all those good years. Over the years we really got to know almost everyone in this community, in good and bad ways. But lets remember the good and forget the bad things that have happend this year. I would like to thank everyone who helped on this forum, with fairplay or with the game for their countless efforts. There are too many names to call here but those who helped us out know who I mean


Have a kick-ass party tonight and don't let anything stop you from doing that and forget all your worries you might have (watch out with all the fireworks though! )
Live your life to the fullest is the best advice I can give for the next year, do with it what you want of course

Mumble keeps crashing multiple times per day, and the hoster isn't doing anything to fix it - they just make up excuses.

I have just bought a new mumble server from Multiplay - a pretty well established and long running server company which I've used before and they always seemed good.

Please update your mumble port to:
1512

The IP/Hostname is still mumble.demobase.eu (it may take some time for some of your DNS' to update, so for now the direct IP is 85.236.101.45)

(The old mumble will still be available @ oldmumble.demobase.eu:50133 or 109.70.149.154:50133 until the start of January - so long as you go there whilst it isn't crashed...)

There are virtually no channels, so please PM me channel name + password if you want a private channel re-made.
