Figured a seperate topic is not a bad idea, keeps things clearer.



0:23 Guy in small bunk shooting towards cargo, you can hear the ak sound skip
0:35 Case appears top right as if the radar was still there
0:45 scoreboard randonly shows itself, no idea what triggers this, most like a close player watching it?
0:48 U can see the x5 as if you were shooting yourself in first person, heli + the player inside heli dissappears
1:10 Houdini act

WTF I HAD THE SAME SOMETIMES but i have 2 add another thing
when someone throw a flash nade it show a case 2 me O.O AND i dont be flashed only my aim icone shows up a case

Thanks for reporting, but that was already known, and it's fixed in latest version 5m. Download at rpm2k3.com.

all bugs happened in the first 3 rounds

Forgot to add the time stamp bug, the 1st time loading a timestamp works but after that it doesnt stop the timescale
It will work after you quit sof and reload the demo, it did show the time with a ''-'' after the first time.

always when trying to watch a demo it says its at a negative time and the seeking never works such as -30mins when i start the demo

i found out that it only fucks the time up when you let the demo finish by itself and try to watch another 1

or possibly when switching from 1 demo to another without exiting the first (havnt tested)

watch a demo and let it just finish and return to the main menu by itself open console and watch another demo (can use timescale)

while watching a demo open console and watch another demo

check the time that will be listed

1 - RPM not recording every single information it gets? it's weird it just randomely happens at times at any place.

3 - Yea i figured, well its not a super big deal since people use cg_draw2d 0.
4/5 - If you watch a demo without rpm and put angles in yourself (thirdperson 1 + other cmds that i forgot) You won't get the dissapearing heli, models and players, so i thought they were rpm bugs not recording everything like it should?

Also if you want to look at the time stamp bug, just timescale yourself forward, add time, load demo again, go to desired time (should work like a charm, now stop the demo (dont quit sof2) load the same demo again and try to go desired time (doesnt work)

1. Sound bug fixed. Easy fix, channel CHAN_WEAPON changed to CHAN_AUTO for converted sounds.
2. Briefcase bug fixed. It is hidden when following or floating.
3. This can be changed like I did in 1.00 if neccessary.
4/5. You can't float around without the mod, can you? The models and players are simply too far away. The information for them is nonexistent. When you play in a server, you don't receive information on players and models which are too far away, hence this information is also unknown during playback.

@ Foxdie: Demo reload negative time bug fixed. The current time was not reset properly during initialization.

Also cl_noprint works now.

3. It doesnt hurt to fix it, does that mean the x5 zoom scope will be fixed as well?
4/5. No you can't, but isn't it pretty much the same when you can place the camera anywhere u want it be?
Plus in a live game if you have forcefollow off you do have a floating camera, but i guess thats something entirely different. I guess what bugged me the most is that they are not always far away :blink:
Prime example: If you are in patio bunker, and a guy on top of small jumps towards helicopter he will dissapear for a bit.

Great work so far though! If you can fix the time stamp i guess that's pretty much it for the play back tools :D

I do have a suggestion though, perhaps you can bind all the speeds/views/etc to numlock 1 trough 9? or give options to bind them if they do not exist all ready.

3. I won't fix the scoreboard, it's mostly shown when you're dead anyways. As for the 5x zoom: I've checked it, and unfortunately I am unable to fix this.
4/5. See my previous post, nothing more to add.

As for time stamp, this should be fixed in the version I previously posted. Let me know if it works.

The only keys used are the following:

K_MOUSE1: switch view
K_MOUSE2: reset speed to 100%
K_MOUSE3: toggle wallhack
K_MWHEELDOWN: reduce speed
K_MWHEELUP: increase speed
K_ESCAPE: toggle menu

Hotkey for switching view isn't neccessary, you can just use left mouse click. Granted, this switches between 1st, 3rd, floating, so sometimes you'll have to click twice, but that's not a big deal.

Binding timescales is a possibility, but you can use mousescroll for this, so that doesn't seem neccessary either. Right mouse resets speed to 100%.

Tell us when it's accepted by fairplay.


This is a test version without FP support, so it won't be accepted. All the updates are automatically available in the next release.

I believe you can still view the scoreboard while watching a demo. All you need to do is open console and type +scores.
