So I'm running a pure, 40 slot TDM server. Frag limit is set to 500, 1 hour rounds.

Please hop in and tell me how's the connection. It should be rather stable with my + 3 MBPS upload bandwidth but tell me if you get any lag.

Why would you make an empty homemade server? Our public game is dead as it is, what's the point of homemade too, you run it for a few hours and then it goes offline?


3mbps upload speed is decent, but theres no point in hosting servers from a non dedicated box. Not to mention 90% of our players live in Europe and have 200 ping on your Canadian server.

without an anti-crash mod of some kind it should be fairly easy to crash it, i presume? i never crashed a home made server but i remember ppl used to crash mine (long ago)

30 players? what, did sof2 get a lot of immigrants from mexico or were they all bots? :P
