In regards to my earlier topic, I've decided to take a first step and hopefully satisfy and encourage a few players to play Sof2Demo public again. Today I installed a server, it's a fast paced Infiltration server. This means 2 minute round limit, Instant Gametype Restart + start of new round when a round ends. With these settings I'm trying to make infiltration as charming as possible, this way you don't need to wait 2+ minutes for some camper when you die.
The server is hosted by 2K3servers.com, meaning it has RPM-mod installed (available @ http://www.rpm2k3.com). I've chosen to name the server Demobase INF so it is somewhat related to Demobase forums and it might attract possible new people to visit demobase and register.
I have rented this server for 1 month currently, but will extend if it works out. At this moment I am the only admin for it, in the future this might change.
If you feel like you want to help me on this it is possible to donate and help me keep this server up. Money donated will first go to server payment, IF the amount of money donated exceeds the amount (15$) needed to pay the server bill, I will put this money up as price in a unique event monthly. Ofcourse it speaks for itself donators will have Admin rights in the server, as long as they follow rules, don't fuck around and act mature. I've decided to set admin donation @ 3$. If it continues to run stable for a few months, I promise I will arrange a competition putting up some of my own money.
