I'd repeat my reasoning, but it can be found in the 5 other topics strijder made.

 

Overall, I believe that limiting the games mechanics makes the game more boring because we have played this game for over a decade and everyone knows the positioning, nading, and general schema of playing a shop war. Why not allow the integration of perhaps bizarre, less efficient, but potentially game-changing tactics? Are you guys afraid of having a different kind of war (even though it wouldn't, since m60 and sniper tactics are really only good for 1 to 3 rounds of a side total)?

Because he thinks that more than 1 sniper or using m60 is a troll tactic. Who the fuck would troll around in a cup war? We play cups to win.
