LET'S GET SOME BETS GOING?
Who wins this year's world cup? Spain? Germany? Does Portugal actually make a good run for it? Argentina?
Looking forward to the Spain-NL match tomorrow. WHO DO YOU GUYS HAVE FOR THIS YEAR? I'll put together a spreadsheet so maybe we can give a prize to the winner of the pool.
I'm saying Germany takes the cup this year, since they are clearly favorites. Can't count out Brazil though, since Euro teams suck in South America.

The favorites are CLEARLY Brasil lol, then Spain and then Argentina. Portugal barely made it past Sweden, Ronaldo is a beast but this ain't a one man show.. Germany, don't think they'll go are far as last two World Cups, altho you never know.. they have a good mix of young and old players.
I hope Belgium does well, if we survive our groupstage (which would be a shame if we don't) we will most likely meet Portugal, really believe we have a solid chance vs Portugal.. if we do beat Portugal we most likely face Argentina.. I think they'll be the ones to knock out Belgium.

Gotta agree that Argentina are pretty powerful favorites. It all depends on the after group stages though.
I just have a feeling Brasil will choke in quarters or semis. They'd probably play NL after group stage if NL goes through as number 2 to Spain.
Portugal is up in the air for me, I just have this feeling that Portugal can win with 1 man alone, the same way they beat Sweden with a 1 man team lol.

Europe team who might win the cup: Holland, Germany, Portugal
African team who might win the cup: Ghana, Nigeria, Cote d'voire
South American : Brasil
Argentinie got the best forward squad with : Messi, Higuain, Aguero, Di maria, etc
Underdogs: Belgium, France

if to choise 1 team to win. I would call Brasil or Holland:P

Only teams that really outclass Belgium are Brasil, Germany, Spain and Argentina. I really do think anything lower is equal or worse.. but in soccer you never know. We have a crazy team now, I hope they live up to it and don't crack because of high expectations.
As for today, Brasil - Croatia 2:1, Croatia is always a tough nut to crack. End result, Argentina or Brasil wins WC.. I'm betting on Argentina

uruguay (with a fit suarez tho) and italy (definitely) would normally outclass belgium aswell imo (just an opinion no hate 
)

belgium got good team, now we gonna see how they performance, all say belgium gonna reach quater final
I believe this worldcup will be an miracle who will get it, underdogs will take it again, Teams like, Belgium, holland, America, Ivoorkust, uruguay

Yeh maybe, problem with Belgium is they don't have any special players, other than Eden Hazard and Januzaj, who are both young and not consistent enough. We don't have a Suarez, Messi, Ronaldo, Ibrahomovic etc.. or Robben. We have a crazy strong squad tho, but not a really outstanding player. I guess you need that kind of player to even make it to the finals.

Jesus what a lame match.. Croatia deserved a tie.. Neymar should have received a red card in the first half, that penalty goal wasn't even a penalty.. but a gift from that stupid chink.. and denied goal from Croatia was hardly a fault, it was so light.. if I were Croatian, I'd feel so ripped off.
