we in demo never had problems with fp either we just play with it from they day one and fairplay help section should never exist cuz noone has problems

ok so let me make it clear for the last time so maybe this thread will stop going off topic :

CTF has been slowly but surely been fileld with cheaters, besides ppl have been using more and more skins and idiot mods such as nade timers, glow skins, etc which in my eyes and objectively are cheats too since they give you an advantage over those not using them.
But thats how it is and believe me Ive tried everything I could to clean the gametype. I worked hard too on introduing MT to ctf but ppl found all the excuses they could to not use it among which :
- cant install (a lot of ppl had issues, not only with the unknown modules, i got a friend who never could install it, always some red error I cant remember about but he even posted in support forums and never got it sorted, maybe later an update fixed it but he had already gave up anyway)
- installing screwed my sof2 install (true fact tho at it did same to mine 2 times already)
- MT servers going down and not letting ppl use it so they gave up after 2 or 3 down times
- Too much updates in the beginning and ppl got bored to get an out of date message when trying to play
- @MS caused multiple crashes and ppl started using it in wars when they were losing : that was the final stuff causing MT failure on CTF

75% of those excuses were bullcrap even if based on true facts but I know it so no need to repeat it over and over.*

And a lot of ppl just dont want to quit playing with skins, I know it is bullshit but as I said I cannot force them.


Thats why PB is a good alternative as its easy to install, updates are automatic and mostly server sided and in the first times we can let servers unpure, so later when ppl made the first step we can think about trying to make them play on pure.


Anyway the topic is about serverlist issues, I dont think that there is a way to solve it but basically I was wondering if that would be possible to play with sof2mp.exe gold version on a 1.00 server tricking the version check for exemple. Cuz the executable must be nearly the same, a few fixes and PB added but sof2mp.exe gold works when using only 1.00 files so somehow I think it can be used to join a 1.00 server and get 1.00 servers in lobby. I dont know much about hexa edition, I gave a few tries but with no luck.

Have you talked to Shifty about the Serverlist? Can have solve the problem?

I gave him my msn by pm and xfire/email adress in forums, no news yet

as for mt on rd well believe me I tried but after all the "problems" mentionned no1 want to give it another try + as long as theres no server side there will be no way to convince ppl.

Why don't you like start a new clan that only accepts players with MT, and then you tell a friend or something to do the same, he start a clan too that only allows mt players... and then this process slowly continues, eventually you will be the majority with MT only, forcing the remaining clans to either let their clan die or scrim with MT
