I'm an active guitar player myself.....

When I was about 11 years old I would play random stuff on the guitar of my brother, that inspired me for the rest of my life I guess

I picked up the drums and took lessons for like 7 years and me and my mate were pretty talented but started slacking on practice after the first 4 years, we had much more potential :P He is now a well-paid musician as a guitarist

I also started playing more guitar when I was about 17.... me and my drummer mate actually were both guitarists in a metalcore band, we had a few paid gigs and were quite a talentful band.... too bad it was a band with friends.... it's not pure musicianship that inspires that way and it can be about hanging out, being cool as well... we had a good time but the motivations were too diverse in the band that eventually the weakest link broke the chain.... In the year after this I picked up the acoustic guitar and learned fingerstyle and was really amazed by it....

Right now I am writing songs in some open tunings, which I got into like 2 months ago.... Stuff like this

Do you play any instruments which you are passionate about? Into creating music?

Can be anything, from orchestras to creating electronic music!!! I personally even have tried producing electronic music for about a year, after I quit the band I started doing this... but guitar restole my full focus from the electronic shit :)

I cannot provide you with any recorded material right now, let's hope I can in the future

I am interested in hearing about others

I've also played guitar (acoustic, bass & electric) for about 7/8 years i think..
I'm not playing alot lately cause i don't have alot of time so my skills are kinda slacking on the same level.
Also had a band from 16-18 but that was the average teenage band u find all over.
We started gettin paid quite good but stopped it aswel

I've always been a big fan of all types of music. Through childhood I played the drums, always had a good rhythm. I was in a few bands, some more cultural persian kinda things, and I have played in several large stages, being the National Theater in DC, The Kennedy Center for Music, and some folk festivals.

Never got paid for doing it though, always loved music. Now I've been resurging back into the hip hop scene and am making an album. It was set to drop in 2012, but with delays it could be 2013.

Good pick. My ex-girlfriend plays the violin.
I prefer the viola though. (Activee: http://fr.wikipedia....ment_à_cordes) )

I wanna start producing again now :( but it takes so much time. Keep your tracks up to date on your topic btw :P

SO DRUNK I took a medicine with plants of my mom for stress. idk it might have reacted but i never felt this drunk with all clean memories still

sorry to do topic minning but I wanted to know if you had a "producer house" (idk how you call it in english raph). Actually I wanna know if there is someone you work for and gotta make song for. ( I really don't know the word for that but in french it's called a " maisond de disque").

I'm curious cuz I'm back in the game for production. Not that I'm near from any good. I completly suck but it's a long path I guess to do smtg decent. That for one reason. Which is that I made a song like 5 years ago. That was a piano song and someone asked me to remix it etc. The guy was in my school and I didn't give 2 fucks. But what happend is that I went to a big party somedays ago and it happened the party was him. there was 1500 people there just for him.

So yeah I wanna get back in the game production wise.

There is a song of him.

100 K view didn't knew till now :/ This song isn't even that good in my opinion. But there is one song they did I really find super super nice. I don't know witch one it is cuz it was on a cd someone gave me.

one thing is that they seem to work with samples and I foccus a lot on composing so Idk how that could work... just waiting for a reply there.. I'm getting in touch with them again tomorrow.

Another thing I wanna add is that they do really well worked sound !!!!!!!!!! But really really really good sound. It's just so smooth. BUT there are (I think) lot's of people who can do sounds well worked like that - maybe not as nice, maybe better- but it seems to me that they put a lot of effort in advertising their music. And it seems to really work well for them. So if you raph is into this still. You should do the same cuz I really liked what you did.

Just an humble advice from a noob. But still an advice. I'll get in touch tomorrow with them anyway.

it doesnt sound that special to me, it's really decent though! Like got no reason to not like it :P cant give u advice on production though ;)

Have bought a new guitar myself, 2 weeks ago.... I could miss some money (well could I :D?) so bought a cort earth 100... decent guitar for the price

Currently learning Andy McKee - Rylynn, been studying like nazi for 2 weeks... can play the song now in parts (except for tapping part at end)... just gotta make it flow :P
