avg gets a free firewall cuz when i try downloading from that guy's link comodo since it has a firewall well it doesnt work so

AVG is def. the best at the moment, Norton is full of shit, I didn't have internet on my laptop for about a year whilst I deleted Norton, that piece of shit program still had some registers blocking everything of me, then I downloaded a special tool on their site to delete all registers (just a bet it would be my norton and yup it was), piece of shit program

Comodo is one of the best free firewalls around. More light than zone alarm.

And the free avg doesnt have a firewall...xD

One question. Why is anti virus needed? I don't use any one for over 1 year now, and my pc works fine. I never using any anti virus. Its useless. But had some of them on pc and i've deleted them fast.

btw, it's more than likely you have 100s of virus' which just don't do much, aswell as maybe 10+ keyloggers which will be sending details of what you type, passwords etc, to it's creator everytime the file it stores your keystrokes in gets to a decent size.. i hope you don't use paypal or internet banking

also how did yoiu know you had a virus without something to scan it with? more likely you just thought it was a virus and deleted it, but left those other real virus' on your pc..

man.. volume how would u fucking know if its a strange site or whatever it is, even ur fav sites can have virus malware or whatever. Even sites get hacked and shit dont ask us why you use antivirus. I use antivirus cuz my computer got haxed by a virus once i mean all the files got deleted like everything and i had empty desktop, empty startmenu, couldn't restore and i couldn't put anything on my desktop. Every single file got deleted because of that virus called conficker

Only thing I have is Windows Firewall. I install and check my pc with various antiviruses once a year or something and most of the times I've had nothing, except few months ago I got a trojan but I blame myself for dling few things. Over the past years it has been clean for most of the time.
Only mistake was going into LAN with no antivirus(quite stupid as it turned out, but I forgot about it tbh )

Nice reply indeed. you'll know what its like when u get attacked by a virus like i got attacked. I'll be honest, I didn't visit a porn site.. or a bad site.. I've only visited sites like pcworld.com and many others. Any site can have a virus. If there's an antivirus software available for free. why not use it? It's FREE. Dont risk guys!! this is not a suggestion for u only volume but also for many other people out there. You might be thinking ur downloading safe stuff.. like songs or whatever u download. Even the things u download can have virus in them. Doesn't matter if u trust the site or not. Even torrents can have virus so just use an antivirus software. I'm just sayin all this cuz my comp got fucked before. If i had an antivirus at that time that could've prevented the tragedy from happening.
