hi all.
we suffer from the old 255 limit on the banips, we get a lot of hackers and my admins ban the ones who return, causing the 255 limit to be met pretty much on a daily basis!
i have had a good dig around the web (mostly here) for a solution to this and i think that a script that clears the banlist at the end of a 10 game mapcycle would pretty much do the trick, leaving only the perma-bans in the banlist.
however i cant seem to find the command to clear the banlist.
i have tried g_banips "" and g_banips " " and so on but dont seem to be able to empty the banlist in one command.
could someone cast a little light?

lol well that died on its arse!
ended up with duplicate banned ips so basically made the problem worse!!!
what i wanted was a cfg to fire off say every time the 10 game mapcycle completed that cleared all the bans.
g_banips "clear"
then added the perma bans is...
addip 80.80.80.80
addip 90.90.90.90
meaning that any ips added by my admins would be removed leaving just the perma bans in every 10 hours or so (thats how long the mapcycle could take to complete.
do the clever bunnies at demobase have any ideas?
