ye rocket i heard that more but i never saw it :S ... and i only heard 2 people saying it without proofing it so i'm going with the fact it doesnt excist !
and even if its possible i still think that the best thing to do is just run 1 map. dont let me start with the pro's and cons
lol mani, there was a time when notag had a private server which could be only seen when logged on ntg forum. We had a mapcycle running there but with so called funmaps as bigfreakinhouse and swimminpool etc. AND YES IT WORKS !!! you can ask Dirk if u don get it workin yoyurself, im sure he can help out

ye, that's what i proposed before this idea even came outit would be nice if there was a nice elim ak server again since hitman's home always lags
but since i dislike elim on my own cuz it's 19051201 mins waiting before a round ends i talked to hitman
and hitman didn't like my idea, so blame him ;s

its public ethanol.. you dont want alot of variation.. 3 best maps is good, so there is a bit of balance and makes you want to keep playing..
its like you just played jor1, you want to play it again.. but next map you dont feel like waiting 8 maps so you leave the server
so yeah, 2/3 best maps is best..
because the ctf update contains like 3-4 maps who suck bigggggtiiiimmeeee and are so overated and never played on gold, so wtf.
i would go with shop2, jor1, kam or air
its like you just played jor1, you want to play it again.. but next map you dont feel like waiting 8 maps so you leave the server

ctf for what? to allways get empty? i think its a waste of server.
without fairplay .. all ctf servers are empty.
nobody play maps in demo. just sometimes.
Unless is the new cft created for demo. that everyboby can enter on server without needing any pk3 files.

Again, incase you dident read above post's Shifty/Jaron co creator of fairplay is adding a CTF mod into the latest version of FP which will be launched when the server is launched.DM with pickups disabled or the MP_Shop CTF.

but i like the idea i think its pretty good i love playing ctf. but we already discussed a ctf server on ntg also and the result: dead. i hope this one works and get very active with a lot of ppl to have fun!!
ah another thing
someone created a CTF mode for mp_shop sometime ago and everyone could enter witouth downloads. as i remember it miss the flag textures because assets.pk3 dont got it but replacing for case textures could be great. i think thats a big bet also.
i hope this server gets active

guys dont forget we are playing this mp_shop for more than 5/6/7 years already damn..
I hope there will be more public servers for maps and playing cw's with it..
