Max, here is a serious suggestion.
I want to ask you if you can make some sort of anti-cheat for sof2. I know it would have been a lot of easier if you could copy the recent MT and improve it, but Burpje is never to be seen.
Also I think that you are a reliable person to make MT, and of course it will take the time of your life to make it. But maybe you can make it so, that the server & client both have to have -your anti-cheat- so this anti-cheat'll work, this way even the remaining non-2k3server buyers will be forced to buy a 2k3 server.

Also, you now already have a sort of idea what to do with anti-cheat, basicly the same as MT but even better.
I'm asking you this, because I don't see a future in MT, since all I ask from Burpje is to keep us up to date, but he doesn't even do that and the other admins also ignore us.
In my eyes this looks like one of the few solutions.

Hey max,

I also wanted defend baris his opinion with the fact that sof2 is active since there is a anti-cheat. And everyday MT is off, people care much less about scrims and less about sof2. What I'm tyring to say is, that you are in the server-renting business. And it's your task to earn as much as money by renting your servers. And therefore you need a active & happy sof2.
So making this anti-cheat would only be benificial for you, because if sof2 dies, the money stops flowing.
Of course, if you have the skill to do it.

Pretty sure, like I said earlier, max & 2k3 would be the best solution, as you're directly linked to sof2 thanks to the servers. Burpje is a ghost, he's been really nice to make that mousetrap, but half-done is not done, we NEED stability, Max showed he could be trusted.

Thank you all for your trust in me. I certainly would like to help in the development of the anti cheat tool. However, in my opinion, starting from scratch would be a waste of time. I hope that FairPlay will satisfy your needs.

except you should stop referring to "other admins" because shifty(demo) and burpi(1.00) are the only people dealing with anticheats for either games, rest are jst players like any other "running" the forums

... and have a word in the development of the anti-cheat, and have connections with most people including the developers. And as you can see XILAX an administrator has replied and has given us the information we needed without being a developer.
