Going through my room for moving time, throwing out everything useless. Came across these and was a bit confused at first. I guess they are for that one crappy cup I barely got through with

I love how you made me my own card yanko but I wish that site was still up, i think it was www.dbc-06.tk but that was easily the best cup, ~50% thought c4 would win easily, 20% thought cP had a shot, 10% thought sK would win, other 10% would have bet on uG, but the ONLY people who thought that 3v stood a chance in hell were us Americans. Even the euros in 3v didn't believe that we could be the best because after all, we weren't as skilled or experienced or even playing on an even field as c4/sK/cP/uG but we didn't waste a drop of talent or teamwork. Hokie understood his team, like that Abu needed to be kept on a leash so he didn't do something dumb light try to fight st4ff, latikas and lauri at the same time and freestyle couldn't be caged in and told what to do because he won't understand and works best when roams. Hok treated this game like a sport, honestly everyone else was still playing checkers while he was playing chess on so many different levels, the manipulative way he made people who HATED him still want to join his team... I laugh every time I see a SS with c1 or broken or ush in it because he hated all of them and he could have cared less if they left, but he needed the people that followed them (.|E or estonia or sK) so he made them feel wanted. Tactically he'd rush to trigger a reaction from the other team even if it resulted in his death because he trusted his teammates to take advantage of the fact that he drew all the attention and made two guys turn their backs and reload, otherwise he'd make our ears bleed on vent. While everyone else was playing the game in a series of 5 one-on-one situations, he analyzed each opponent and understood how haze plays differently from c4 and how sK and OG are complete opposites. We didn't have a style, we played however hok told us to and that was based on wherever their weaknesses were. This cup changed the game tactically more than any other point in sof2's history, only other argument would be the sK kitchen camping style when they were at their peak and made glitching/retreating into a game plan (I blame borno) but I can't pretend they weren't the best at that.

and I just realized that those cards are literally from 7 years ago, just like the 15 mins I spent writing this, holy fuck alcohol and marijuana make time fly by

ahh true I wasn't looking at the list haze was like THE elite clan back in the days when OG was actually good, this cup was kinda when the rest of the competition caught up (I still remember how big of a deal prod+hok made when we beat haze for the first time in some random war like 6 months before this)
