Match report:
Pre-match
ros. won the kniferound and decided to start in blue.
Set 1
|eG.| took the initiative by rushing Roof via Stairs which actually surprised ros.
My feeling said ros. still needed a warming-up if you checked the personal duels.
|eG.| was in the begin stronger and more sharp.
Defqon was very useful in the begin, he saved some points for ros, else |eG.| could have extended their score faster.
Anyway it went equal and |eG.| tried to take Roof a lot via Stairs.
ros. didn't catch for it after some rounds and the rounds followed went equally, worth opponents.
Later |eG.| tried to focus more downstairs in Conference which seems to help.
Masi was aiming sharp in Conference and ros. couldn't break through most of the time.
|eG.| couldn't resist to go Roof again once they thought it was clear.
But ros. had good communication and when it was 9-6 for |eG.|, ros. was enabled to stop the rush again and made it 9-7.
|eG.| had enough of it and finished it... 10-7.
|eG.| win by 10 to 7
Set 2
It started dramaticly for ros.
|eG.| took point by point and I didn't hope for the game |eG.| would run-over ros.
But ros. regrouped again and made it from a 3-0 to a 3-3 which was nice to watch from spectating.
|eG.| attacked offensively in Main, but discovered there was a hard obstacle in East.
Puma was playing very well here, he was a bit unlucky he lost the 1on1 situation against Ville with the case (smart movement there).
But he was overall annoying for |eG.|, and thus the rounds were close and it went to 4-4 on the scoreboard.
|eG.| tried another way by going via Stairs and Cargo, which seems to totally surprise ros. there.
Especially the Kitchen-rushes were nice to watch.
This tactical change seemed to hurt ros. a lot, but they didn't give up yet.
It became close rounds like 1on1 and 2on2 situations.
But |eG.| was a little bit stronger in the finishing, and when they almost reached their 7 on the scoreboard, ros. felt it was as good as over.
|eG.| took their winning point and thought it was over, but ros. came nicely back.
Unfortunately it was too late to save the game.
|eG.| win by 10 to 7
Final Score: |eG.| 20 - 14 ros.
Conclusion
A good game, no whining at all.
|eG.| is the deserved winner, but ros. wasn't chanceless at all.
The 1on1 and 2on2 situations were better played by |eG.|, though Defqon saved ros. some rounds.
He is for me the man of the match, but Puma, Masi and Iper were also good.
A nice try for ros. and good luck in the Semi Final |eG.| !
