oh didn't see the rules state an amount of players is necessary to make the bust valid. In that case i'm sorry, you were right again.
still avoiding my sincere question, so repeating it: is a fp guide now accepted as valid proof? think it's just a normal question to ask, i simply want some clarification of the rules.
You ban me while i simply question the rules, while others haven't made a single meaningfull post since they were registered and yet still hang around here. And yes, lately you belong to that group.
Another clarification i'd like, who were the 10 admins that voted? Just to know, since i'm pretty sure half of them haven't read the topic at all and judged by the things they were told or a small one sided comment by yourself. I'd rather have ville as an admin then actually.
Pretty sure you didn't even discuss whether there's a proven connection between the name in my fp guid and my ip actually, but ok.

Ville wouldn't complain then. And it doesn't matter if he played a war, faking is not limited to playing wars it can be public games as well.

Since we can't prove whether Muse or Butcher was on that computer playing, both just got the same sanctions if one goes in the fault, simple.
And if they have 2 computers it's even more stupid lol, then both should use their own computer.

I am pretty sure that muse used villes name, no doubt about that. what im sayin is, that the rules seem little bit flawed as of now...
and that muse actually has a point even tho he used the name.

Explain me why the rule now is 'flawed'.

Look, it works like this:

Shifty gives everybody a GUID.
This GUID is (what I think) granted to every single network-card, but I can be mistaken.
They got 2 computers, so they got 2 FP GUIDs right?
Butcher got 'h4x0r' I thought it was and Muse '604e8'.

Now we all know Butcher and Muse live together.
The rule says NOW (so exactly on this moment) that the IP-address is the only proof needed.
So what does that mean?
NO MATTER WHAT GUID YOU USE, IP ADDRESS SAME? -----> YOU FAKED!

This is what the rule defines now.
So as Muse or Butcher used Ville's name, it didn't matter because Ville took IP SS, a GUID doesn't matter.
If Ville took a screenshot of FP GUID, it was a different case, because it's more clear since you know what computer they used.
An overview to be MORE clear:

COMPUTER 1 (BUTCHER):

- FP GUID: h4x0r
- IP: 81.242.180.137

COMPUTER 2 (MUSE):

- FP GUID: 604e8
- IP: 81.242.180.137


As you can see, their GUID is different but their IP is NOT. Since the rule says now this:

FAKING*

Faking(IPss needed)
1st bust - 3months ban from all demobase supported cups
2nd bust - 6months ban from all demobase supported cups
Busted for the 3rd time = life time ban from all demobase cups
Faking in cupmatch, lifetime ban from ALL demobase supported cups

*It's only faking if the person being faked makes a complaint or if it's during a cupmatch.

It's all about their IP. Since we can't prove Butcher played under Muse his computer or Muse on Butcher his computer, it's too much work to figure that out and therefor both players get the same sanctions (their own responsibility).
Ville made a legit bust, this is pure next to the fact if the rule is lame or not..

Now secondly, since butcher admitted it was him, well wow, it is somewhat unbelievable(considering the guid example I already brought up) but atleast in rl if you confess(even if you 'lie'), you are guilty, no?

This would mean if Butcher admits all the time it's him, Muse won't be punished and can do whatever he wants (since Butcher is already perma-banned).
That's why both get banned, else one player can always sacrisfies himself (in this case Butcher).
Since Butcher is already perma-banned, only Muse is added to the Cupbans Forum.

This is what we try to change, I agree with you on that. My opinion was only related to the rules how it is currently.
