Hello all,

I am an webdeveloper and I created a new concept for SoF2 clans (or possibly also other games).
I'm willing to make this code public or apply website's on your domains for all of you, but then I need good input on how to make this site better (it is still in development, but it is already gd enough to run as full website).

i've put a demo @ http://www.oflgaming.net/demo

Let me know what you would change, what you would add, etc etc

if I get enough input, I will make it public.

I see nothing special about sof2 on it, except that scores can only be a maximum of 20

webspell is for general gaming website's where you still have to configure what you want, even change code etc etc..
my site is ready-to-use, just setup a mysql database and change the configuration file. i might even write an install mod.
but please tell me what you would change etc (still under development ofc)

Dude, Webspell is exactly the same. Download it, upload it, install it, configure it. Plus I don't see how come your's is especially for SOF. It doesn't even remind me a gaming site if you leave the logo out. You've failed.

Mind you the guy's asking how to make it better, not offering a finalized product. I'm not saying you shouldn't express your feelings if you think it's pointless to even continue developing it but come on, "you've failed"?

i like the template tbh. move the bar under the banner and its good. its simple and i dont really see many simple webspell templates

Listen. He wants to do it his own way. You might have chosen a different way, but that's you. Let him do what he wants, and if you have any suggestions concerning the lay-out and functionality of his site, then give him and if not just skip this topic and don't waste your time.

You don't get the point, do you. The thing is that WebSpell is better, faster... Has much more opportunities and options, plus better development section etc.
Now what's the point to create something more worse than WebSpell and say it's better?

Ah but how could you say it couldn't become something, if not better, at least more. It was still in it's baby shoes, Webspell has been around for quite a while now. Why's competition a bad thing? Who knows, maybe it would have developed into something awesome, differed from Webspell in a way that makes it stand out. Or maybe not.

But yeah thanks to the amazing Demobase community he buried it already so I suppose that was that.

maybe make the admin control panel be better accessible by making it in ur profile screen where u logon and shit and also your profile having admin and profile @the top is not really convenient. and the sidebar where it says latest news the articles you should be able to click on those and go to that news entry. latest news should be the home page no need for a home page by itself imo. for clanwars, instead of having details maybe just make it simple as screenshots and have it 1,2 so u can click on em. and also had a fp guid section in members and be able to edit it in profiles since fp part of full/demo and like i suggested before make the banner above the navigation bar and it would be a pretty nice site. better than the other webspell templates imo
