Welcome all to a new cup season for SOF II - FULL (v 1.00)!



As the previous cup was a success, we hope we can bring the same pleasure.
We got notified by several players there is enough interest to host another one.
A good reason to bring you the second season of the Fairplay Cup series.

Some things like modified/improved rules will be determined soon, but it will be almost duplicated as the first cup.
What follows is very important to read for clans who would like to join:


It's a Hosted Cup, but it contains an Open Registration.
This means all clans who meet the requirements (will be published soon) can join.

The groupsystem will probably change as well compared to the last cup.
We will use seeds, based on the experience from last cup and the judging from full players.
This means the following:

We got 4 categories: 1, 2, 3 and 4.
We will devide these in 4 Groups.

Group A, B, C and D.


Now every Group contains one clan of one category, resulting into 4 clans per Group.
So the best clans will be seperated and not meet eachother in the Group-phase.
To know what clans belong to which category, we will check based on the results of last cup and the experience from full matches.
We will open a discussion for this to check some opinions first.
Once this is determined, we will plan a Group schedule (by random-clan-picking into the Groups).
After that the first matchweek can begin.

So for a clear overview from the story above:

1) Clan registration
2) Discussing what clan is what category (if this process takes too long, it could be the cupstaff forces a clan into a category)
3) Schedule the clans into the 4 Groups
4) First matchweek can start

Before the signups will take off, it's important your clan has read the rules.
We will publish this soon.
Once you join this cup, you agree to obey and agree to the rules made.
Rules can change during the sign-ups though, we will make a topic for this to discuss about it.

This topic stays open for ideas and support.
Spam or any other unrelated posts will be deleted without a warning.

Anyway how about you find yourselves your own cup name? I came up with the idea and the name of the Fairplay Cup and
you two not only didn't ask me to organize this with you but you took the name. Not that I give a rat ass about it but it's not cool.
You don't see random people making Konvict Cup II or Facing Worlds Cup II do you?I know you helped me organizing last cup Slizer and reffed a lot of games but still.

Well then pardon me that something happened over pm's and I wasn't informed. It seems like a bunch of sarcasm to me, considering no one in their right mind should even be mad that someone "stole their cup name".
