Hey all its obsidian / ronald mcdonald, some of you probably remember me, some don't...but my message is the same to all willing to help an old vet.

Can't go through the installer in order to re-install the game...it keeps taking me to the beginning of the installer and says that it detects another version of SOF2 MP Test on my computer and I need to uninstall that first before installing...well there is 0 files on my computer right now that are affiliated with SOF whatsoever...so if anyone could host their fully downloaded folder of sof2 and just put in in a rar and host in on like megaupload for me, that would be of great help.

Most likely you still have files in the windows registry which is why its detecting another version of sof2 installed.

Go to start>run>type in "regedit"

Then go to local_machine>software and then then look for a folder called activision.

If there is anything in there for SOF2 then delete it and try installing again.

Yup Marty, found the activision folder in a sub folder of the software tab, thanks for the help.
