Hey guys.

I recently bought a new computer with windows 7.

Now when I again feel the urge to play SoF i've encountered a problem.
I had no problem with downloading or installing sof however when I start up the game it goes through the little green patch screen and then turns into the black full screen and starts to load. At this point I get a windows error window saying: "SoF2MPTest has stopped working, windows is now trying to find a solution to this problem." After a bit of waiting it says that windows can't find a solution to this problem and asks me to close the game.

Has anyone had this problem before or does anyone have some kind of tip how to solve this problem?

Nvidia? SoF2 MP TEST? If so, rename your SoF2MP-Test.exe to SoF2MP.exe. Should work flawlessly then.

you have AMD/ATI card then?

Yeah it'd be wise to note that as well. For AMD/ATI I don't know a fix, if you do have Nvidia, simply upgrade to the latest drivers and use the renaming anyway.

if AMD/ATI there are 2 ways being used to fix it atm 1 is a .dll which is banned by fp tho the one u need isnt a bad .dll just the file name isnt allowed and u cant rename

and the other is one defqon uses which is in the help section same as other one

got same problem yo, i had this problem ages ago and i read a topic on db that fixed it.

something to do with the program nHancer or something idk, looking for the topic atm lol.
