I. Acquiring and Working Fairplay
STEP 1 - Download
Go to the following address > www.fairplay.ac
You will see the following screen, click the download link on the top right.

STEP 2 - Save [proper location is important]
The following screen will pop up. make sure you save "fairplay.exe" in the base folder (meaning where the "sof2mp.exe" is)

*important* If you have Windows Vista or Windows 7, your sof2 folder must be on your Desktop, or you will not be able to run fairplay.
Below is what your base sof2 folder should look like with "fairplay.exe" in the right place.

STEP 3 - Run
Now you are ready to test-run fairplay. Double click on the executable and you should see the following window pop up:

Here's a little information about the window:
- you will see a "guid" (in my case is "money") This is a 5-digit piece of information that identifies you, and is unique only to your computer NOT your ip address, you cannot change your guid unless you purchase a custom guid or if you reformat your hard drive
- the version: lets you know you are up to date, and you will need to download the latest version in order to proceed.
- Address: simply your current ip address
> status: first will load then "examine paks" this is simply looking through your pk3 game files and makes sure all are allowed, then will proceed to "starting game" and you are good to go!
STEP 4 - FP in Action
Once in a game server type the following command in global chat (or teamchat or console) --> "@fp" (without the quotes of course). This will display a message for all players to see that you are on fairplay as you see on the screen below

However it is better to use a different command "fp_status" (in the console) to see whether a player is on fairplay.
This command can be binded on scroll lock like in the previous fairplay version by creating the following bind (type this in your console): bind 0x00 "fp_status" -> now when you press scroll lock you will receive the same information you did as on the previous fairplay.

II. Common Errors
These errors include: "Make sure your fairplay is in your gaming folder" , "Invalid pk3's" and "Illegal Module". These errors are explained in detail with step-by-step solutions in this topic > http://www.demobase....?showtopic=2078 There are of course many more errors, but these are the most common and the simplest to fix.
III. The New Website
Ah yes the best part
Most of the features are the same, you can see commands, view fairshots taken (screenshots of a specific player's screen) and lookup guids and players.
However there are some new features you will discover:
1. You may now see ALL current players using fairplay, in both sof2 demo and full, by clicking on "Players Online" then choosing "Soldier of Fortune 2 Demo" (or whichever) which brings up a detailed list of players as the following screenshots show:

2. The new Fairshot system:
> in the game, when you take a fairshot of someone, it will show up on the fairshots page. As shown:

Lets take an example, the first screenshot on the top left. As you put the mouse over the image, you see a magnifying glass, click once and the image becomes larger and identifies: the player, his guid, the server ip and otherwise a normal fairshot. Look at the image below for an example:

We see Foxdie playing under the name "Foxdizzle" with the guid "k4pwn" hacking like a piece of shit as usual.
*THE NEW FS REPORTING SYSTEM*
Now, when you suspect a fairshot proves hacking or suspicious behavior (like this obvious hack fs taken of foxdie) instead of creating a topic in suspected cheaters you will click the small red flag on the bottom left of the fairshot (only when it is un-magnified). This will take you to a screen that asks you to enter some relevant information. These screenshots should help:

The fairshot will be sent to the fairplay team and we will inspect it and make a determination whether there was indeed foul play. This is probably the coolest feature we got
Cheers!

That's pretty much all I got, if I think of anything else or left something out I'll be sure to update.
