Faking is not a big deal imo unless somebody fakes you for a longer period of time (faking for 1 day = care). People shouldn't be cup banned for that or whatever the punishment is.
Server ban is ok if there's any admin.

faking and hacking with other persons name = ban 3 months or more
faking 1 time to provoke nothing more than a server ban or such
