Explanations to how and why:
More teams had played their matches than these 8 but seeing as overall some groups were semi-active and some were totally inactive, I had to do a lot of biased decisions. Yes, it's all far from being fair but that's what happens if people sign up for a cup and don't show any effort to play their matches.
Secondly, the teams I picked to be the final 8 were picked while considering past cup activity (and results) and current activity in SoF2. I'm sorry to all who feel that they were cheated or whatever but as I'm organizing this cup basically alone I don't have time to organize everything for everyone, so I did what I thought was best (this does not necessarily mean it was the best thing to do). For example kkhpprs. didn't have any matches played, yet I know I see skoko and the others online every day. As far as I know some people in their group just ignored them and others were inactive. But seeing on how c4. always get their matches played I thought it'd be unfair to leave them out as they're probably one of the best teams playing.
Also I didn't fix the group phase in my own benefit. I just checked out that there wouldn't be the same matches than there were in group phase. Other than that, the opponent you got was purely chosen by chance.

Well change of plans. Out of the 20 teams like 10 actually managed to play some matches. There was nothing I could do. If people choose not to be active and participate it's their choice.

Also as I said the teams didn't get picked on group phase performance due to some teams ignoring others etc.

In theory relinquished would have been on top of their group but kkhpprs on the other hand had 0 points as they didn't get any matches played (and as I stated like 10 times before it wasn't their fault).

All I can say is deal with it...Blame the community not me

Surprised that some teams went through the group stage even without playing any match, but inactivity was big in here.
4 weeks time to play 4 matches and some teams managed to not play any match at all. Why they signed then...

some unfair decissions were made, but the best will win... so that's not that big deal.

Good luck to all the teams who are in quarter finals!

Well the thing that's up is mainly that... PEOPLE DON'T PLAY THEIR MATCHES.

I'd happily get this cup over with but the last time I checked no1 wanted to play (especially ros.!!!).

Well we'd need to replace ES!, e2.0's leader is on the MBL, not sure if the ros. guys want to even play together anymore.

1. Royal had 1 game and it was win, but somehow you didn't put them to quarter-finals...
2. XT and n00bies had both 2 games played when your IKEA had 1 game played and it was a loss... for some reason you just ignored XT and added IKEA instead of it.
3. Team kkhpprs didn't play at all... why the fuck you added them to quarter-finals?

The whole current playoff table is fucked up.
It seems that random teams were chosen to play in quarter-finals, and you didn't bother to look the played matches, results and activity... that's why the cup died.

to complete this cup you should make a new play-off table where is only teams with wins and no matches lost... those teams are:

Relinquished and Ros has both 2 wins and 0 losses ... so they should go straght to semi-finals.

Ks, ES, Royal, TeamE2 have all 1 wins and 0 matches lost ... so they will play in quarter-finals and two winner teams from this quarter-finals will continue to semi-finals against ros and relinquished.

that's the fair way to play the cup and this way it might actually be completed some day, just let all those teams collect new line-up of 3-5 players.
