at first i was pretty excited about this when they said the game is gonna be based on both 1.6 and css

now when i see the first gameplay vids, my opinion is that this game will be utter shit

edit: of course the game is not even out yet and this is just one of the first gameplay vids but i think its quite self-explanatory, this game has 0% of the good old cs feeling especially 1.6 has

I'm amazed how they've gradually made the series shittier with every new launch.

I was expecting that Valve will do something good for the FPS scene as DOTA2 seems to be pretty neat and a great addition to eSports but it seems that even valve doesn't care about the competitive FPS scene anymore.

Valve tries to build a competitive 5on5 fps but they seem to have no idea what made CS what it is, it seems. When they were asked about hltv/sourcetv-like feature they said it would be one of the last things to do and even asked if anyone actually uses HLTV or SourceTV..shows how much they really know what they are doing

They are aiming to make this game as a competive so people gonna play at lans etc, also they are trying to make it on 5on5 style + professional players from 1.6 are helping them out to make it better etc.

CS:GO will be released at summer...


I heard they make gameplay just like it is in old CS's, but with better graphics and they deleted many glitch spots on maps as well to make gameplay even better. Almost all old maps are now better (only map change I didn't like was de_train, all cs gamers didn't like it... hopefully valve will change it)

first I was like "wtf is this" but now discovered that it's gonna be a good game, except I don't like the part that it's coming for consoles... but oh well, we PC users gonna show reality to those console kids soon.

anyone gonna buy Global Offensive?
