What is wrong with demobase? And who is professional enough and willing to put time to take care of the site? As in Make/Edit/Organize all stuff.

this is not possible in 2011 anyway, sof2 is a dying scene, whatever forum you create will have about 30 members and 7 or 8 active posters... they'll spam a bit and after a month they get bored at it and somehow the forum gets deleted.

Like it or not, but that's probably how things will turn around LoL

i think it's too late for this shit, we should have made it 5 or even 8 years ago

well demobase is such a troll forum, it's up to people like xillax, shifty, doc and those other admins to decide how they want the community to be like... there are rules and shit but there doesn't seem to be anyone trying to enforce them but yeah, this demo vs full scene has rly gone too far and it's becoming childish :/ That's one of the reasons imo demobase gets less of my attention and some others who are starting to get bored by hearing (reading) all of this

but whatever, maybe that's how they want it

this community is already small enough, though I agree trolls are a pain sometimes, if that bothers you I will moderate the full-demo hate posts with less tolerance.

and keep in mind that this joining of scenes really worked better for full than for demo as full gained players and demo did not

shifty wont stop doing fp for full, why would he? we buy guids, we visit his site who got advertisments etc do the math...

im pretty sure it made him millions
and he couldn't have done anything more profitable with his time

this idea will fail for 99,9% and if it works it won't make your scene any better. Tbh if you have some ideas it would be better if you tried to make them work here. There is no gain in what you trying do.

as i said "maybe" you cant know for sure either until shifty confirms it, also this is not another clan forum its quite different i don't think there anyone professional enough who could start/run this, at least compare to demobase admins

i didnt say i wouldnt want to make cups in your forum if i ever make another one but if you look at it most cups before were made by demo players for us in full, the first NC, CTF, FP cups, goldmaps etc. so correct me if im wrong but theres no1 from full who would run them or will run such cups in the future
