LRA (Kony's ex army) now consists of only 400 persons, the majority grown ups.
Kony retired 2006 and isn't even living in Uganda anymore.
Here's a blog with some trusted news stories gathered in one place

This is such a school book example of today's media. People trusting information from once source. Does it sound healthy that a 30 min clip can make people hate a guy you never even heard about before? You can portray anything in any way, and I'm sure you can portray Bush/Obama/Putin/Hu Jintao as a child murderer just as easily.
In the news papers there are every day news about suicide bombs and mass murderers, but we're so fed up we don't give a shit anymore. Until our lazy asses get it visually served by it in front of us. In 2012, you get even get it served by a youtube presentation. If it was an article, you wouldn't have bothered reading it. But this video is made in a kind of entertainment.
Also naive weekday heroes use to prefer Africa when it comes to campaigns like these. The oppression and dictatorships in Asia aren't equally interesting. Burma, Tibet, Laos and North Korea... go for liberating these people instead. To be disgustingly frank the asians do more for the world than ugandans.
I think also mainly Americans are used to see everything in black and white. It never is, in any conflict. It's not as simple as a bad guy and a good guy. Ugandas government is just one of these guerilla/rebel groups who reached the power.
shit video. only spreads unnecessary hate. who the fuck are you to judge someone's death after watching a 30 min movie?

The number of children spoken about in this video is wrong, that's the total of all the children in Africa who have been taken away from their parents since the 80's and not just in Uganda.
More money goes in making the movie, paying salaries to the employees and administrative fees than actually helping the children.
I wouldn't swallow everything said in this video, there has been 20 movies before this and they all have the same message.

Personally I think that not the US has to handle this problem. Uganda should be able to make it on theire own and not always the 'powerful' US has to solve other problems. Ofc its a sad storry but it is still a movie, made with good knowledge of marketing. The good point is that its really getting a popular topic, which makes people talk about this whole topic and perhaps it will help. But defently not by suporting IC. This will only make yourself feel good but I dont think you will help finding Kony or stop governments abuse children as soldiers.

Does Kony have Twitter account?
He is getting so much hate lately so i think everyone should support him in these dreadful times.
If they catch him i hope all the rappers like JaRule,Lil Weezy, 50Cent wear T-shirts in their rap videos saying "FREE KONY" and fight for the freedom of their african brother.
