Anyone here still have gold? We, >>tacp:: still play mixes almost every night, and anyone interested should add me on MSN robwood13@yahoo.com because a lot of the time we're looking for a 12th man.

And save the "gold's dead" or "there's no competition" comments, cause it is active it's just a more exclusive community with the majority being Americans around c4/nVm skill level

We also play mixes on gold&custom maps everyday on demo and most of the time we have arround ~16 people for a mapmix of 6v6 or 7v7 max so we have to send people away instead of looking for some more (sad story but its true ) . And now with this RPM mod on demo I don't really get what your looking for on sof2 gold besides some gay bots

yes insane, around midnight my time the server usually has a 6on6 going with ~5 specs, but earlier during the day there are times that we're stuck at 11 players and desperately need a demo player to come play the ACTUAL version of the game. But OSP mod is still better than RPM, the competition is better since they've played ctf for 10 years, and you really must be insane if you think its all bots, thats the same as saying demo is just Aussies playing TDM, but the server we play on has a password so that's why people need to MSN me if they want to play.

gold is overrated

it was fun in 2005, but then in 2012 playing a 10 yr old game full or demo simply doesn't matter

If you really get "stuck" at 11 players all the time then play the original war format, 5on5.

So your playing in servers that are full of players who don't use any kind of anti-cheat software.. sounds like lots of fun indeed

Actually Ross back when CAL and all the leagues were around it was always 6on6 for CTF, which makes sense because that fits jor the best, just like 5 fits shop the best. We sometimes play inf (shop/hk/other maps) we always do 5v5, but I don't see the point in playing public on gold. Not because pb doesn't run on those shit RD servers, because there's clearly no cheaters since everyone that plays in them sucks. And pb still works the >>tacp:: ND server we play in still has it, here's a link you can DL it

the only reason i'd like to play gold is probably the better bullet reg but playing on an american server pingin 200, its a no-go for me

yeah you had some weird PC lag, that wasn't normal. Normally euros can get 100-140 on this server, which is less than what me and most americans play with all the time on demo. and nah no way was that a year ago, christmas break
