Since yesterday i have windows 8 running on my pc. Today I tried to play soldier of fortune but once again the OpenGL error appeared.
So I just updated my drivers and DirectX but i still have the OpenGL error.
Next to that RPM does not run on windows 8, it simply crashes.
is anyone here who could help me? i would appreciate that.

OpenGL error means it cant find your videocard drivers i think
as for rpm when it asks you for default injection put it to No
