Since battlefield 3 was a huge succes for the makers they just made Battlefield 1942 free. The game is old with old graphism but since it just came free and the battlefield 3 community is huge there are a lot of people who gonna download it and play it today and prolly the upcomming weeks.

Nah fuck the demo now that the full game is free go on and play it. There's about 2000 or more players playing I think, with the Origin free version.

The full version of BF1942 is extremely active now, kind of like when SOF was released, there's a handful of full 64 player servers and daily traffic numbers of I think up to 3000 players, which is beyond amazing.
They also hacked the 64 server slots limit up to 128 (and 256 players theorethically), you can see up to 95 players on the same server with almost no lag, there is no better time to start playing BF1942 and get with the competitive scene, and it's free.
