I think it would be not correct to ban Rocket or Asrael for these mistakes/cheating actions (I don't even know what Asrael did, was probably away from DB then), my support for my opinion is that else Dsa and Zaza must be banned also for not sending demos which I requested. And believe me, many other players have requested at the end of the war some demos which were not send, but people didn't do anything because there were no sanctions/rules yet to punish these players who didn't send their demos, so a very few players did request on DB but the rest knew this and didn't want to waste their time in it. What my point is of this post is that we must think good and objective to apply this rule before immediatly applying it, else other players should be banned also which is good because they violated the rules but it will lead again to a mess maybe. I propose just to start from this October just, a new clear begin, many players have been banned already for cups like me, Xillax, Skyline etc.. Only current cases like Dio and Purified should get banned now on this community/new cups after the Nationcup is over for them (for Purified any moment).

If you wanna go that way, make sure who you punish first. For example me and godfrey have been banned from cups already and it happened ages ago. Why punish for something that happened years ago and I ALREADY GOT PUNISHED? I like the idea of first september or any other recent busts, since these players haven't got punished yet.

I read trough the first two pages.

"New" rules

Shopkeeper got shot to death with a shotgun in USA. An old granny witnessed this act of violence and reported it to police. A line of suspects was made, and the granny was called to witness. She recognized the murderer from the line with ease. In USA they relied heavily for eyewitnesses and this man was convicted of murder.. sentence was lifetime.

15 years passed and similar murder was made in another part of USA. No eyewitnesses this time, but they found an empty shotgun shell from the murder scene. Ballistic research had improved during these 15 years. Improved enough to allow accurate comparament of the shells of this murder to the one happened 15 years ago. Research proved the shells were shot with the same gun.

Soon after this murder, police somehow found out the drug user, who was guilty for the recent murder. The investigators asked him, how did he got the gun in his hands? The drug user already knew he would be going to get a long sentence, so he confessed that he had done the murder with the same gun 15 years ago.

This means that this Johny boy had been sitting in jail for 15 years for a murder he didnt do. After similar comparaments, they found out a lot of people were doing their time of crimes they didnt do. heh! Thats not the big deal tho.. the big deal is the 6 guys sentenced to death because of eyewitnesses reporting them guilty.

Now we get to the point.. When you watch someones demo, your being eyewitness. I see lifetime bans in these new rules, but what if your wrong? Not a big deal to get banned from demo for being a good player, but it aint right either.

The source of our problem has never been the duration of the ban.. it has always been the fact, that no one dares to bust people. Making rules harder, means higher busting gap. Therefore you can play around with the new fancy rules, but i doubt these "new" hard rules will change anything. Known cheaters will be gone, the shady ones will remain.. as it has always been

Also, how do you ban these guys with dynamic ips? Practically all the worst cheaters/server crashers have these. Only way to get it working effective.. is not playing/recruiting them. Isolate them from the society.

Could have summarized my post to the last 2 paragraphs, but i think certain people might be interested bout the story aswell.

if you realy wanne punish the people who are destroying the fun of the game, u can also add rules for people for refusing to use fairplay (they mostly say they have a problem with it, wich isnt 100% true), also add rules for people who comes back with faking names (i remember Illuminati could fake a person for like 3 months and we didnt know shit ... ) .

i dont agree.. for example cC. Scott used fp all the time, now he got vista ultimate and he cant get it starting. i already posted at db for him but no1 couldnt help. so sometimes there are error and u cant punnish players therefore
