1. Q : What’s actually a ladder?
A : Ladder is a table, ranking of all squads signed on it. There are specific ladders at the moment : 1vs1 INF , 2vs2 INF , 5v5 INF mp_shop for clans, 5v5 INF mp_shop for teams. --note-- You can have only 1 team on every ladder, to avoid playing vs your own clan/team.
2. Q : Is it some kind of cup?
A : Let’s call it a never ending cup. You don’t have any time periods you “HAVE TO” play matches. You do it anytime you want to get higher in a rankings. There is no problem if u lose once, twice or 3 times, you can always win few next matches vs high ranked opponents and gain a lot of points again.
3. Q : Why exactly ladders? What’s a goal in it.
A : There are few motives.
1st – Just to avoid whining @ forums e.g. about not added wars. (look flaming in clan results section)
2nd – For every won match your team gain points, number of points depends on how high ranked your opponents is. You lose them of course if u lose a war.
3rd – To make wars on demo more interesting.
4th – To encourage all sof teams to fight for every war, to get as high in a ranking as possible. You fight to be a #1 in every ladder!
5th – Everyone has the same rights, will be judged fairly, no corrupted admining.
4. Q : What are concepts of introducing ladder to sof 2 demo?
A : Plan is to make Ladder wars = an official wars. All others ‘less’ official wars, which doesn’t mean they aren’t worth anything. Official , just because all results and reports are available on one site, in 1 table. Official also because no result will disappear, even if both sides are arguing, there is always a fair admin/referee to judge it. No flaming either.
5. Q : First simple steps How to :
A : a) Register on www.sof2ladder.roxservers.com.
To add your squad go to My controls / Join ladderc) To add your player, go to Team Manager, invite player by writing his nick, you can also do that clicking on his profile. ----note---- all your players have to register themselves. Now he needs to accept invitation.
d) To challenge clan go into ladder / opponents clan profile and make a challenge including there all useful information’s e.g. server/pass ; CO / ARC ; (mp_shop / other maps only in case 2v2 and 1v1 ladders atm)
e) Challenges have to be accepted before match also, then after match is over just enter report with result.
6. Q : What if opponent doesn’t accept result?
A : Opponent doesn’t have to accept results if :
a) He requested your demo, but you haven’t uploaded it yet.
Breaking some rules from your side, e.g. abusing rcon, cheating.Referees / Admins will take care of it, no problem, fairly for both sides.
c) Breaking rules by one of sides, means they will get a penalty points.
7. Q : War rules and ladders system rules?
A : War rules are exactly the same you’ve been playing whole your sof career. No cheating, no rcon abuse etc.
Ladder system rules are exactly the same as on www. CLANBASE . com I mentioned few of them above. If got any questions ask here.
8. Q : Advantages if it gets active ?
A : 1 of advantages is an option of ‘Quick War finder’. You just select on your clan profile page a ‘War light’ to the green one, what means you are searching for war. The opponent can easily go into your profile, find your msn and discuss about making a challenge. You won’t have to spam for 20 mins on msn to find a one single war. As there will be a lot of squads, you won’t even need all opponents contacts, all challenging and wars finding would be done @ one site.
2. You can also find wars by in-built IRC working on every internet explorer with JAVA. Just enter your nick go there, and check if anyone is searching for war. I’ll repeat again, first it must get active.
3. If we will think we got enough members and ppl on ladders, they gets active we’ll get some special servers from roxservers.com (to play ladders, tournaments) + there will be made tournaments with prizes.
It will get active only if you keep joining this project.
I expect already comments about “it won’t work” or “it was already but it failed”. By talking this things you just aren’t helping it. So think it over. Soon few referees will be recruited, maybe admin as well.

Accepting challanges :
Some people had troubles with accepting matches. Just go to your team profile (which has been challanged), there u have a table with challange, click on 'flag' under status and there you can accept it.

New account activations
Every new made account has to be veryfied and activated by e-mail, especially to avoid multi accounts.
