Max, I suddenly remember you talking about adding the countries into the scoreboard, where did that shit go xD?
Also I have been thinking one last time about what could be very useful RPM. And I came to conclusion that a built-in minimizer would be awesome, people would be very happy with it I guess. Although I don't know if this can be done.
Did you not have something like this in the oldest RPM but it was buggy or so??
If it can be done it would be very nice and I would request that if possible, there should be a option where you can set your own keys.
Peace Out

I never had problems with minimizer myself but that's ME

Yeah, removing them lines makes it look much more clear, it's very nice. The scoreboard does look a bit bold without any colors, but also more professional.
Our only objective left is to make everyone get this RPM and delete their old ones, so noone will have issues joining pure servers.
And max like Slizer asked some previous posts ago, are you going to renew every server automatically or will you do it by request? And if by request, how do we request it? Because if I'm right this resets the serversettings right?
Peace Out
Glad you are also positive.
Pure servers will have to switch to 0.78 indeed, so people can delete the 0.771 in RPM folder from their FTP and upload the new mod. Of course they can also contact me through the control panel so I can do it for them.
I'm considering removing the RPM 2k3 filter: after my final decision on this, I will release the mod!

Try pause/break button.

Doesn't mousetrap have it's own minimizer like fairplay in demo does?
Try pause/break button.
Some standard SoF2 minimizers are used, MT doesn't have one.
Edit: I've added something very hot: the News button will change color in the menu if you haven't read the latest news! Get it here (note the domain!):
http://rpm2k3.com/beta10.rar
Experiment by setting ui_newsCount to 0, and the mod will "think" that you haven't read the latest news.
Again, and I've been saying this alot of times: I think the mod is ready to be released.

Found a small bug: if you click Serverlist, the button won't stay dark if you rollOut.
Need to include a ReadMe.txt file in the RAR file upon release. The file should look like this:
How to use:
- Locate your SoF2 directory (default C:\Program Files\Soldier of Fortune II - Double Helix)
- Remove or backup the current RPM folder inside that directory
- Replace it by the RPM folder in this RAR file
Website:

By the way Max, always when I change from RPM 0.771 to RPM 0.78 or the opposite my sof2 crashes when disconnecting from a server, I heard another guy who had the same problem.
I told him to remove RPM/sof2mp.cfg to fix the problem, and then to keep RPM 0.771 until complete RPM 0.78 mod is released.

So about the minimizer, I guess since you have been looking forward to finally releasing this shit and the fact that a minimizer would also take at least another week, you ignore it
And what about putting 2 letters of what country you are from in the scoreboard, it wasn't a suggestion of me nor Slizer, but I'm just reminding you. (This should not be so hard?)
Anyway max don't interpret this as whine, in the end you make every decision you decide what's in it or not. We are just giving idea's, and if you think it's 2 much work you, you can just say "no fo, too much work" (like you sort of told me about the /stats).
We are already more than satisfied with the many changes, I should say improvements you have made. But in the end you should know that the road to perfection is infinite, and of course you could save some modifications for later RPM-versions.
And since 1 of the reasons for you doing this (in my opinion). After this is done, the best servers to play in are 2k3 servers, so you are attracting people to rent a 2k3 server = money. And because of this, perfectionizing this RPM will always haunt you
Peace Out

Anyways, baris make a good point out of this... I couldn't explain it better.
About the minimizer, are you making this or not?

Ok, so this will be the final beta and then complete mod will be officially released?

Can you send me the sofmp.cfg you are using that is causing the crash?
Looks hot indeed!

Minimizer: I don't think it's possible to add it in-game. Must be added in a "third-party" program.
Country: I will not show this in the scoreboard, but I will show this when you type the "players" command. Could be added in a later version though.
I don't interpret any of this as whine, I see all of it as useful feedback, so keep it coming. Indeed the road to perfection is infinite, so only really useful stuff should be added.
The reason I started the 0.771 was for Pure issues (slight modifications to RPM final). True, RPM 0.78 is best supported in RPM 2k3 servers due to location and third person showing in the scoreboard, but it's still better than RPM final in normal RPM servers.
He told me on msn he wanted to skip the country idea.
Anyways, baris make a good point out of this... I couldn't explain it better.

I can't wait for the official release and hopefully all regular clan servers will swap from RPM 0.771 to RPM 0.78 as fast as possible to get things moving, and no lazyness.
Could you still send me the sof2mp.cfg file(s) that caused problems when you switch from 0.771 to 0.78 and vice versa?
Yesterday i heard that i should be here so now i am

Thanks for your reply, Baris already mentioned that. The stats are server side. I might add the full stats again in a newer server side version.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that Max... I kinda removed it but I'll try to fix it back later today.
Ok, I'll wait for that. Because I think it is required to look into is before releasing the mod.

Ok, I fixed it back. And this ain't a 1 time crash, it happens everytime I switch from your beta mods and THEN BACK to RPM 0.771, as soon as I restart sof2 with RPM 0.771, join a server and then disconnect. Besides, I heard from another guy who had the same crash problem, so it's not just me.
I'm sending my RPM/sof2mp.cfg to you on the email.

Thanks for sending.
What I've done is the following:
- Paste your sof2mp.cfg in both RPM and base/mp folder
- Use 0.78 beta 10, connect to my test server and immediately disconnect
- Use 0.771, connect to my test server and immediately disconnect
I don't get the error. What am I doing wrong? My test server IP is 193.138.205.49:20100.

Use beta10 in RPM folder, connect to any RPM 2k3 server and join a team... then just randomly change some settings in the Settings menu.
Then disconnect and quit game, replace with RPM 0.771 and rejoin a RPM 2k3 server... then when you disconnect, you should crash :/
If not, then repeat this at least two times... or I basically don't know how else to get it. It happened to me all the time + some other guy whose name I can't remember.
But the thing is, I don't think you need to fix it because once you've release the complete version no1 will switch from the new version and then back to RPM 0.771.
