Hello demobase,

Some of you might seen that I've created a new map pack a few days ago (assets3). But it only contained 6 maps and alot of people suggested to make it bigger because the people here don't like to download every month a new pk3 file. So I checked almost every map made for sof2 and selected the very best imo and combined it with the 6 maps from assets3. The maps I picked are really cool CTF and INF maps, there are a few small maps to play 2v2's on and a few really big to play 7v7 on for example - I also posted the complete maplist below. I called this new pk3 file assets X (the X is coming from eXtra maps for CTF/INF).

This is the final version of my map pack so please remove assets3.pk3 if you still have it of course. There are no bugs, missing textures, missing levelshots, etc. This map pack is 100 % bug-free. I hope everyone will like the maps I picked, I sure do

not want to spoil ur work... but most of these maps suck (for competition) maybe it's fun for those who want to hide and seek, dunno.

jor8 shop8 are nice maps for 3v3s on ctf! or 2v2!

U didn't include shop8 though

but if you're looking for maps to play in wars we might have to put energy in just learning the gold maps properly instead of playing random (shitty) maps

We've played goldmaps for so many times already, that I think almost everyone knows them.

ofcourse goldmaps are better maps for competition, but these custom maps are quite fun to play in a mixwar

Who said I made this map pack to play clanwars on? It's just nice to play on some other maps and a few maps in my pack are really awesome to play CTF on (mp_shop4, mp_jor3, reactorplant, etc.) - we had alot of fun in the mixwars yesterday on those maps.

And about the competition part: we got all the gold maps for some years now and still 95% of the clanwars are being played on mp_shop so honestly this community isn't waiting to play clanwars all day on maps. Pretty crappy comment from you tbh

well at least I can play 2v2s daily with people on maps and they are competition! Plus ctf mixes on maps are nice!

Thats a lot of progression from the boring old thing 5v5 shop only no mixes
