Click on Download mIRC

Your download will now start, or you will have to click "save as"
2. Install mIRC: internet Relay Chat

Open the mirc635.exe you just downloaded, now you will get a screen like this
Click on the left button "Uitvoeren"

Now the mIRC Setup screen pops up

Click "I agree"
Click "Next"
Select your "Destination Folder" & Click "Next"

Click "Install"
Click "Finish"
You have now Downloaded & Installed mIRC
3. Open mIRC & connect to QuakeNet - #sof2test

Doubleclick on the mIRC icon

mIRC will open and a small "About mIRC" screen will pop-up
Click "Continue"

If your evaluation time has expired you might get this screen again,
Click "Continue" again then (NOTE: Can take about 10 seconds untill you can actually click the "Continue" button)

Now the "mIRC Options" screen will pop-up

Fill in the following info:
- Full Name: (you can fill in whatever you want)
- Email Adress: (you can fill in whatever you want)
- Nickname: (this is the name that other people will see)
- Alternative: (an alternative nickname, incase someone else on QuakeNet has taken your nickname already)

Now click on "Servers" in the "mIRC Options" Category menu

Find QuakeNet from that list & Click on it

Then click on "Select"

Now you are back in the "mIRC Options" Connect category

Click on the "Connect" button

Now you will get the IRC "Status" screen (You are now connecting to QuakeNet IRC)

Now the "Favourites" screen will pop-up

At "Enter a channel name and click join:" fill this in: #sof2test
Now click on "Join"
You are now talking in #sof2test channel at QuakeNet IRC
