Match report:
Pre-match
We have waited for some time now to get this started.
The deadline has been passed, so for some frustrating but we finally started.
With Kevvo as broadcaster and a lot of players listening, a good final would follow.
sK. won the kniferound and decided to start in blue.
Set 1
id : started good with a 4-Kitchen tactic and blocking the Entrances by nading them.
Though id : didn't want to go in Conference, they achieved the first 2 rounds.
Mainly because of going via Stairs, where they surprised sK. on the Roof.
sK. had to find their strong gameplay which they had in all matches during this cup.
And after a tactical move on Roof (Fleim was holding a bit now or Rocket helped Azzy), this gameplay came back more and more.
With a 2-0 score on the board, sK. rushed massively into Conference.
id :, who is normally hard to surprise even in Conference by their defensive tactics, couldn't avoid that sK. controlled Conference.
The match totally turned upside down, from a 2-0 score they made 6 points in a row making it 2-6.
id : didn't try a tactical change in Conference, instead they went to the Roof which led into a crucial point.
The round after sK. was more prepared now on the Roof, unlike this they had a complete concentration in Main and Patio.
Fleim and Abu were playing really aggresive and accurate, but so was the whole team.
Some players from id : like Kapu and Otszor were not really sharp in this moment of the match.
But id : got Sittmees, who was also in this match playing good against sK.
He had some nice kills, but even Sittmees couldn't push through East.
sK. was prepared for this and the 2 East players from id : came too late to help their Conference players.
id : went again to Roof and after a quick fight downstairs, it left the situation to a 2on3, with 3 from id : on Roof.
Fleim took the case and tried to sneak via Ledge, but they saw his plan and he failed.
Making it 4-7 on the board, id : tried again to attack via East.
But sK. knew now how to finish it and they did.
They rushed like mad buffelos into Conference and took all 3 required rounds to win this set.
Nothing worked for id :, when it was 4-8 on the board sK. played that nicely that all players were left from sK. in the end of the round.
With a nice double kill from Fleim in the last round, it did end..

With only 4 points in the red team for id :, it would be a very hard objective to win this set from a sharp sK.
But they know they have only one chance since it's the final.
And when both clans were ready, we could begin in the final phase.
As everybody was still as excited on ventrilo listening as we admins were spectating this match, id : could show if they deserved the golden award.
id : has Camper on Patio, who is always hard to eliminate.
But sK. was not scared at all, and just controlled Conference.
It didn't take long, id : was fast in Conference and tried to get the case and escape, but not paying that much attention for the counter.
sK. came via Kitchen and stopped the attack, getting already 1 of the 5 required rounds to win this cup.
But id : didn't give up and Camper had a nice triple kill in the next round making it 1-1.
id : wasn't as sharp as sK. was in the blue team, especially Main had a lot of problems to eliminate the Conference players from sK.
And as sK. was playing very smart by eliminating Main one by one, id : had a very hard time to control the level.
Sittmees was left against 3 sK. players, but he only killed Nastacus and couldn't bring a spectaculair round.
With already 2 rounds for sK., the end for id : became closer and closer to go with silver home.
And sK. had a surprise waiting, they actually rushed Roof.
id : didn't see it coming, they had the case and went Small, but Nastacus was very wise to stop this boost and so id : failed to escape quickly.
With sK. taking another round, id : actually didn't know what to do anymore.
They knew sK. was just better in the personal duels and the teamwork.
Merax won a nice 1on1 against Rocket in Conference, but this was the only round id : would get before the victory for sK.
And sK. did it!
They made it 2-5 on the board, resulting into winning this final.
But id : was sportive and stayed until the end of the match.
As id : had the feeling it didn't matter anymore, they actually played good by this.
They rushed hard and sK. couldn't stop this one.
With Camper having a nice double kill, they took another round making it 4-5.
But Abu didn't show himself worth yet and decided to perform a four kill combo, which was impressive to watch.
And finally Sittmees won a 1on3 situation after, it was like a dessert for us admins to watch these rounds with nice kills from both clans.
id : rushed strongly and Abu had a nice double kill nade, but id : could eliminate him.
sK. rushed Roof again and they won it again.
The round after sK. even won the round by again 5 players left.
id : had a last rushing round making it 7-9, but sK. did the final touch to 7-10!

A good final!
It is clear for everybody that sK. deserved the win.
They were sharper and more accurate.
id : did not bad at all, but just had too less rounds on the red side.
Fleim was really hot by his gameplay on Patio.
I think he can be called player of the match.
Abu played really good as well, especially the four-kill he made..
For id :, Sittmees and Camper were again the best.
Merax, Otszor and Kapu weren't really sharp as I know they can prestate better.
With the first time on Demobase broadcasting a match, it was also new for us.
id : got disturbed (Merax) by a private message, which we feel sorry for the inconvenience.
Unlike this, we really think it was a successful final and cup!
sK. took another golden cup to their prizes!
You guys played really good in this cup where you can be proud on!
And id :, eliminated very good clans (c4., cC. and -I-R-Z-I-), you can also be proud on yourselves.
Who have thought you guys would make it so far?
You were the real surprise during this cup, and I think also sK. has respect for that.
The silver is a big award for a clan that is just active before the cup.
