Signing up
- If you wish to sign up to this tournament, you must follow the correct format shown HERE or you won't be added at all.
- When you sign up, you accept and confirm these rules. Any changes within these rules will be announced.
- Once you've been added to THIS list you have officially entered the tournament, you know your time to play and you will show up unless you have a good reason not to.
- Server password will be sent to you in a PM. Share only this to other participating players, no one else.
- Everyone must sign up on their own. You can not register for someone else except for yourself.
- You are allowed to switch group before the match has started as long as there are room for it.
Cheating Policy
- For this tournament the Cup Ban List (CBL) applies. The overview is here: http://www.demobase....p?showforum=132
- Any type of cheating will cause a permanent ban from this tournament. You may also risk cup bans if any demobase admin gets involved.
Before the match
- Reply to THIS thread if your fp guid has changed.
- If your match starts 20:00 you must show up 19:50 or earlier, otherwise you take the risk of being replaced by a signed up substitute. If there's no subs in the server upon your late arrival, you may enter the game and play.
- Make sure to load the game with FairPlay.
During the match
- Play with the name you signed up with.
- FairPlay must be on from start till end.
- Chatting is allowed but anyone spamming or whining will be muted until the map ends.
- You may reconnect if your game crashed, froze or closed down but your score will be reset for that map, unfortunately. It doesn't matter if you remember the score, the full score must be shown on the scoreboard at the end of the map and that is the score that counts.
- After 1st and 2nd map there will be a short break on 2-5 minutes, you will be asked if it's needed or not, if nobody wants that break the next map will restart immediately. IF a pause has been called and a certain player hasn't returned after 5 minutes of Game Time, we will restart without him/her.
- You must not ragequit. You may however leave the game if some important matter turned up.
- Spectators are allowed but it is currently invite only. Send me a PM if you want to spectate.
- If the server restarts or crashes for unknown reasons, the map that was currently played will restart as well, this rarely happens anyway.
After the match
- For advancing semifinal players (Top 8) you will be notified of the server password for the final match. Make sure to read your PMs. It also accounts to any other related tournament updates.
- Players who did not show up to their match without an explanation or notified reason will be banned from the next tournament, but welcome to play the tournament after that. This also applies to those who showed up but didn't finish 1 map or disconnected because they were losing. Let me know 1 hour before the match starts if you run across any problems.
