ye, now i have new pc and i can get over 300 fps and now you gonna limit it, maybe you can limit the cfg too so you can only change your name and sens so we can all play a good default game and everybody is equal... -.-

i'm just saying that it's impossible that the gameplay is equal for everybody, there will always be people who are being felt disadvanced, but by lowering fps that much (and shift maybe wants to do it till 125 fps ) is just bs, i didn't by a new pc to see my fps get limited 3/4 times as much i have normal, just limit it till selfboost at patio isn't possible anymore, and as far as i know 250 or a bit more is good enough then... djeez it's a more than 5 yr old game, don't fuck the gameplay

you dont fuck the gameplay by lowering the fps to 125.

Asrael is right... Your eye won't see a difference betweeen 125 or 250 or 333 so it doesn't matter.

i just played with com_maxfps, it lagged a bit, and my fps wasn't steady at all, it sometimes was around 60, sometimes 80/90 and sometimes 125... when i do max_fps over the 200 then it's steady. so is this normal or.. ?

Since some noobs seem to have some sort of mental illness or they're just handicapped somehow, it's pretty insane to start arguing, but I'll give it a shot.

1. For instance, in main u got fight going on. When your fps has normally been 333 or 120 or 680, your fps drops to 60. It doesn't mean a fucking goddamn duck if you have fps set to 1 billion or 100. It still drops to 60. People with pointless whines about com_maxfps whines can basically die irl.

2. It doesn't change gameplay at all (counting out Patioboost and sprayfaggets). It's a proven fact that people who can gain 333 fps hit better in this game, because of the BUGGED bulletregister system coded to this game. Also Patiojumps are forbidden, so it doesn't change gameplay at all. Lame bug abusers.

3. Limiting fps under 333 is goddamn good thing and will IMPROVE the game, instead of damaging it. 100% of this people who whine in this topic about the suffer of the gameplay, don't even know a little piece of shit about this game nor the gamemechanics.

People start to whine about their FPS, because they just bought new computer to gain advantage from BUGS. You might feel that your money went to useless stuff, but that's a pity. You probaly will be having better enjoyment of the higher graphics I suppose.
Guys who refuse to use FP because of the FPS limitation, will have a hell of a tough time trying to play wars nowdays. So take my little advice, agree with the flow and give a effort. It's not our fault that the game has been coded a bit harshly, some people just try to make it more equal to more people.
If you don't want to play wars with FP on, who am I here to stop you? Play against cheaters one after another, go ahead.

And 1 more thing... If your monitor is set to 75 / 85 Hz then you won't see more than 75 / 85 fps. nubcakes.
