well i'm a confirmed catholic i have this little piece of paper to prove it and of course the Vatican city (yea yea technically a country) is located in Italy, so that makes me an Italian because they'd welcome any catholic with open arms there same as they welcome any Jew in Israel (besides my ancestry is 50% italian, 25% portugese, 25% irish).
