Zioni is more of a swe/nor/den/fin player then NA. Iceland has nothing to do with North America. Zionis and Katanas has two different situations. Katana can choose to play with team.nl, while Zioni on the other hand has no country to play for and the only right thing to do is atleast to play for a province which his country is in - Scandinavia.

you dont realize, the only reason he was allowed to play with team NA was because there was some bullshit story that his father is a U.S. citizen, not because it is geographically closer.

i dont really care zio can play for sweden, but the idea of this team scandinavia is just as ridiculous as katanas pathetic attempt with team balkan

team scandinavia was an option since there was concern swe won't get active 5,
however this is not the case anymore, so the Zioni case will be
reviewed by admins agian I think.

Denmark + Norway + Iceland would almost have 5 though

and this is what happens with portugal and spain. Since portugal and spain don't have enough players of their own and portugal only "neibhour" is spain, why the fuck not?

but i guess i was 2 naive to think that all this confusion wouldn't happen. Ppl already wanted to merge 13 countries to make a team while 99% of the players belongs to turkey, and they clearly have more than 5 players. others dig up their entire family tree saying they belong to certain country..



anyway, we talking about it, and we gonna come up with something soon, even if we have to cancel all of this merges and swap attempts, and everyone plays for the country of his own, if there's no 5 members,that's just to bad.

Yeah, this thing is just getting way out of hands, the people who's nation doesn't have enough players just don't participate. What's so hard to understand about this. I'd rather have a real NC with 8 ACTUAL nations than playing a mixteamcup with 16 with all these team.scandinavians and balkans.

Finland, nl, sweden, uk, est, na, belgium, poland all can be formed of the people actually living there. If enough members germany, russia, turks? 8-10 teams should be more than enough, it will be an actual NC, without any "Hey but my father is from there even though I've never been there, never will and don't speak the language."-members.

And stop arguing about the scandinavia thing, what you people don't seem to understand that there necessarily isn't "right" and "wrong" here, it's a matter of how you define scandinavia and who you ask about it, just because you've been taught so in school it doesn't necessarily make it right and just because wikipedia says something it doesn't necessarily make it wrong. Besides what does it matter, you don't need team scandinavia, sweden has enough players on their own, no need to start fucking around. Ol, farlig, sylt, blue that hellrazor guy just off the top of my head and there are plenty more.

naturalisation is a common thing is sport, difference with what is happening here is that those players actually posses the nationality of that country, zioni doesn't, end of discussion?
sux for him he can't play but there are plenty of other cups for him.
only one question should be asked: do you have the nationality of the country you wanne represent?
