hey, ive read on cGo forum that there is a rpm from 1fx servers has something wich makes ping lower wich causes less lagg

is this possible to create in your rpm mod max?

The lower ping is obviously a scam. It is impossible to change anything in the package handling by editing the game source code.

Ping is simply the time between request and response: it can't be lowered by modifying the game source code. However, it's possible to make the pings appear lower by editing the scoreboard information. This must be how they "lowered" the pings. It's simply a scam. If you want proof, I can create a server where everyone has pings lower than 20!

No, the ping just appears lower on your screen, while in reality it's higher. Therefore there is no lag reduction.

just to make it clear again :

Ping is latency time between client and server
Lag is a packets loss (red spike on the lagometer)


i.e. you can have a high ping and no lag at all

Actually they did not steal the mod, they just made a bad (?) imitation of it. Anyway, shame on them indeed.

Yesterday cGo burner had over 70 kills and his dmg was 0 on the scoreboard, it couldn't be something wrong with my scoreboard because he saw it too like everyone else.
