Max, Did 2k3 set some new connection or something? I used to have 75ping and now It's 120-130 :| It might be something with my connection settings but I'm not sure

We always have the same connection: we cannot really influence it. Our connection company is responsible for it. However, we currently have a test server to determine whether a different data centre offers a better connection. Please test this server at 95.211.49.167:20200 for comparison (all our other server IP's start with 193.138). I'd like to hear your results!

I told devaz to talk with you about this because I didn't know much about it.
He has better ping on the "new connection" test server. But some others have get the opposite, they get 10+ higher pings in the test server.

is it possible to rent this server that starts with 95.211 for about 3months?
my ping is better there 75-80 instead of 90-100, F!ve has 50ping there (Slovenia) while on others its 120 for him.
we'd really like to use that new connection, in my opinion you should just let people choose either 193 or 95 IP servers and not the same connection for all, dutchies have 20 everywhere so it doesn't matter for them.

I like your suggestion of the choice between both connections. At the moment it will be hard to implement this for us. I have just called our sales person: the test server that is currently running is merely for test purposes, we unfortunately cannot host any rented server on it. However, we are considering buying a new server using this connection in the near future (hopefully within a month).

Ok, it would be awesome if we can rent 2k3 with this connection
slovenia people got 50 instead of 120, me 75-80 instead of 100 and germany has 60 while 50 at others no biggy - thats what slizer meant to say

So can you open for us server with the same connection that CARL SERVER is running? 16-18 slots for 3month
Like I said in a previous post:
the test server that is currently running is merely for test purposes, we unfortunately cannot host any rented server on it.

Just wanted to say again that this connection would help us alot, sometimes I have 200-300 in the 193.X.X.X Servers while 70 steady always in 95.X.X.X and ofc much lower pings for the rest instead of having +100 in 193.X.X.X.

No news yet. As stated previously, we expect to move soon -- hopefully within one month -- because we prefer the 95.x connection as well. I'll post here when I have more information.

if im not wrong there are like 4 2k3's server with that connection, whats the max? my ping is the same there & CARL TEST Server but +20 in the 193.X.X.X ones.
The 217.x servers aren't hosted by us. They are in a different data centre which explains your ping difference.

And so are we. We are working on it! We are nearly 100% sure that the new connection will replace our current connection. However, I can't tell how long this will take, that depends on our suppliers, negotiations etc.
