Sorry for opening up a new topic but the last one was closed and I didn't get to share my humble opinion the matter.

I'm not sure how large our community is but it's got to be one of the smallest gaming communities in the world. Having such a small community, I always say the more the merrier and it boggles my mind why people would think otherwise. I understand why people would want 1 team per country, but it's not the fucking FIFA World Cup. I'll remind you guys that it's just a 7 year old game made for entertainment purposes only.

The arguments against them playing in the primary cup are so dumb. It's basically all the 1st team players with huge egos.

But don't fight your way into the primary, because I'd say a nations cup is officially ruined if there's a chance of the final being NL vs NL, what the fucks the point in that.

Well then we clearly found out which nation is the strongest. How is it ruined Seych? Come onnnn.

secundary teams belongs in a secundary cup and primary teams belong in the primary cup. Its pretty simple hea.
And to determine the primare and secundary teams you can do a best of 3 or just one match like nl1 vs nl2.

Sounds like you just pulled that rule out of your ass navy. I'm sure you wouldn't mind the 3rd teams playing in the secondary cup. Then its ok.

but imo only primary. would feel useless to knock out 4 extra noob teams just cuz they voted on demobase poll

I'm sure sweden would have problems beating any of those 4 teams mentioned. NL2 especially.

I'd like to see someone give a reasonable explanation as to why to not let them participate in the cup. Impossible feat but I like a good laugh.

First of all, it gives advantage for countries that can get more than one team.
Secondly, we played previous DNC with secondary cup, where were you complaining then?
MOST of secondary teams wouldn't stand a chance against primary teams anyways ("It's basically all the 1st team players with huge egos.")
Now I know how badly you wanna bring up "yeah but iberia wont stand a chance either"(example, no offence to iberia or w.e that team was;D), that's kind of different story.

And plese, what's up with bringing up the "it's 7 years old game"?!
There are games older than that, run strict rules, are much more popular than sof2; noones complaining. Noone is complaining that out of 10930123910 SWEDISH players only few can represent swedish national team at cs(just example)


PS. I thought that most of secondary teams are OK with participating in 2nd league not first one.
Except NL of course, I mean I didn't see team TR playing their match who gets to 1st league, estonians havent play anything either, etc etc etc.

I don't follow demobase enough to know these things. It was an old topic obviously I didn't know there was a 2nd cup being organized. But I still say make 1 big cup out of it but whatever.

We play this game for fun, so let people from iceland to play for sweden, turks play for macedonia, estonians for russia&sweden and whatnot - more people get to play = more fun !!1111

I feel my best argument has been left out.

In the olympics some countries have more athletes competing for the gold simply because they have more athletes able to compete.

And why if the majority chooses(31) to let them play they are still left out because the vote outcome isn't differing enough? That doesnt make sense to me. Why even vote then.

iberia is made of 2 country's, why? cuz they cant get a full team by themselves, you can say oh but they are basicly the same country, well they aint, we all know that. you can wiki that shit all u want and search for some loopholes they are NOT the same country, i think no explanation needed here tbh about that.
So for the same reason you need to allow nation2 countrys to play cause we can get more teams then just 1
If your country cant get more then 1 country then its not our fault, go stand in corner and promote this game..
Its more FUN and more wars will be played + some nation2 countrys could surprise us
