I made some records and i wanna convert them(dm_2001) to avi or mpeg.. any idea?

Run your demo.
/cl_avidemo 30
record the part you want
/cl_avidemo stop
Go to your screenshots folder.
Download VirtualDub
Paste your screenshots to VirtualDub and save it to .avi
Use some kinda program to add effects or w/e.

Fraps is faster than avidemo, I would suggest that for short clips.
As for avidemo,
cl_avidemo "30" - 30 being FPS you want to record with.
As broken said, you can use virtualdub or videomach.
For effects I would suggest Sony Vegas, it's quite simple program even for beginner and the interface kind of resembles windows moviemaker.
