Heh, first round in the cup and everyone's screamin for a forfeit already, love it. But yeah if he's on the banlist and the cups ran via demobase can't have banned players then of course it's a forfeit. Though if the admin said that he can play in the beginning of the match, it really shouldn't be an immediate victory for 3v, I mean what could have frontline done about this, they asked if he can play, they said he can, they played well and now they get a forfeit because the admin didn't know what he was talking? Perhaps a rematch or something, then again I really don't care or never really read through the rules, so guess you guys should leave up to the admins to decide.
