The quarterfinals are going to be "Best of 2 maps"
So you'll need to win BOTH MAPS to win the game.
Example1: team 1 wins the map by 5-3, and wins the second map also by 5-3
(Im using the same score system as group stage.)
So team 1 has 10 Flag caps + 10 points for winning the game = 20 points total.
team 2 has 6 flag caps + 1 point for losing the game = 7 points total.
What if team 1 wins a map and team 2 also wins a map?
Then there will be played a 3rd map as the final. Of that map is going to be a Tie, then the score system says both teams +3 points for tie + flag caps.
so 5-3 won by team 1 + 5-3 won by team 2 and 4-4 in the final maps means:
team 1 will get 5+3+4 flagcaps =12 + 3 for tie = 15.
Same for team 2.

hm just on points was better tbh, but now there isnt such a big advantage if the opponent doesnt know one map cause they can make up by winning the other.
