in its modernicy, accuraticy, recoil, weight
anyway in the Gaza war last year we used Tavor, which is way better then both M16 and the kalashnikov (its an Israeli product)

ak47 > m16 in every aspect for real.
kalashnikov came in year 47, worlds second assault rifle after mp44, ever since been best assault rifle in the world.
PLUS. Vietnam war was first time when ak47 fought m16, and ak won m16 in every way. m16 gets jammed by slicest of dirt, it gets broken so easily. Plus in my opinnion kalashikov is better on aiming because I dont like pipecrosshairs what m16 got. And the recoil is lower because kalashnikov have 7,62 mm caliber, when m16 got 5,22 mm or something, anyway lower what means ak47 bullets are more powerfull.

My pick would be ak74, same perfect engineering as ak47 but caliber is lower and there is less recoil.
