Humans have to fill the spot as apex predator to keep the ecosystem balanced. With urban sprawl and past feelings of radicatioen of the original apex predators ie. wolves/bears/etc. we have to fill that niche now to keep everything balanced. Humans have really fucked up the ecosystem the best we can do now is try to keep things in check. The introduction of non native species such as those hogs that you see up there, have caused so much problems.

Well I do work in conservation and ecology, so I'd say yes haha. Yeah crab legs are the best I agree, had a job offer to go regulate the king crab fisheries after graduating but fuck the cold man.

Misinterpreted the post, certainly shouldn't of flamed.

The wolves and moutain lions are just now kind of making a comeback thanks to conservation efforts.
