i'd change the color on he walls for something lighter and get rid of the curtains, they are fucking ugly

Solid look, lilac tie with a grey suit is not a bad choice at all. You could try unbuttoning the bottom button of your waistcoat.
I think it would give an overall less constricted look. Not sure your cuffs aren't too wide. You could probably get them altered if
they don't stop at the wrist of your hand.
