On youtube there's a commonly watched video of a guy his top 10 guitar solo's, and i posted mine as response.
so here are some of the nicest solo's i've heard so far. Would be nice if all you non hip-hop fans out there could check it out and then make a top 10 as well, just either as a list or as a youtube video, whatever you like.

heh, if you actually knew anything about hiphop producers you would smack yourself in the head wit ur guitar, there is no limit on what sounds ''we'' use, give a good producer a metal guitar solo he'll sample the shit out of it and make it a slow jam if he wants. and yea vid is dead

Does anyone know how to get rid of this copyright problem? I always seem to have some form of it when uploading videos containing any songs at all in it

If you say specifically you do not claim the rights of the content of your video, and that the songs are owned by the bands and their respective labels they don't remove it, most of the time

the main guitar is my guitar teacher lol. He's the best younger guitar player from limburg the netherlands. solo begins at 2:00 it's not a veery hard solo at there but thats just a random concert

At 2:00 starts an incredible solo

I agree with rad about layla and sultans of swing, especially sultans of swing. Mark knopfler has such a specific sound, cause he's one of the few that doesn't play with a plectrum.
Anyway love the solo from stairway to heaven too.
Castles made of sand from hendrix has a small solo i really love. The effect he creates by fading in every time, and the way he played the chords backwards is just genius.

if u still have this copyright issue, i suggest u to watch this, worked perfectly for me
