Fairly simple, isn't it ?

Playing twice is asking for a fail, lets say 12 clans sign up, you play 11 matches = 11 weeks = 77 days, 154 of you play twice, thats way to long for a single cup, i guess after the 77 days, the final 6 advance: + 5 weeks for them to play another group match with eachother, so this cup can be done in 3 months, shorter then alot of cups we run without this system. and those 77 days could be easily put to half since you get to play alot of clans, chance is you wil encouter them anyway

It would be easy to run, but typical demo players don't show up so most of the matches will be FFd.

Last year I was thinking about the league-system. There would be 2 leagues which are created by the results on previous cups.

Champions League and the First League. Top clans would move to Champions league right away, let's say X clans max and other clans will go to the First League. You play versus each other twice til' the season is over. After that first clan/team from the First League will move to Champions league and the last one from Champions league will move to the First League. Last but one from the CL and the second one from FL will have a qualification match to see if one falls to First league or the other one goes to CL.

Would be cool to create it + also allow both teams/clans to play. The only thing would be that you could play for 1 team, doesn't matter if it's a clan or a team. Too bad demo players can't play their matches on time so it's useless.

Yes I was thinking about the same, with one best league (Champions League) and a 2nd league (First League).
I think it's a great idea and ofcourse some matches will be FFd, but why don't we at least give it a try.
With some support from others, this would become a great competition.

nice, but ur missing a thing, like mani said. Ppl come and go, and i bet that in 18 weeks, 10 clans are created and killed not to mention the players that switch clans. If u keep that under control it would work i think.

Good idea

Take +/- 12 clans in this tournament and they all have to play eachother twice. Everyone plays 1 match a week so it will take 22 weeks in total (Maybe you can add some weeks where there wont be played any matched because of holidays etc) +/- a half year.

Set the rule that you can only play for the clan you were registrated with at the beginning and you can only swap clan and play tournament matches for your new clan after the tournament. Alot of people will change their mind about joining another clan because they wont be able to play in the tournament anymore. Clans wont die so fast this way and if they do they can still play in the tournament with the people their registrated with, this cannot change untill after the tournament. Also new clans will have to wait to participate untill the tournament is over.

When all matches are played new clans who want to participate in the next tournament and the last 2 or 3 from the competition can play in the play-offs. The winners can participate in the new tournament again. Maybe some clans might decide to quit, in that case only the new clans need to play play-offs in order to find out who fills up the free spots. Make a proper scedule and give 1 week time to play for every match, this way there wont be much forfeits i think.

When there will be a good organisation who makes good strict rules this will be a big succes.

sounds nice, but I fail to see the point unless there is some nice prizes because 18 wars in a league is like sick, 18 weeks(1 match per week like football) without a nice prize is n00b

maybe if every clan wanted to put in some cash and the top few gets some cash ?
