I've been reading posts by Aytuo, Azzy, Mani and others in this topic. I agree that this rule is way too harsh for such a small infraction. But would it be fair to FREEZ and -HaZe- who had to play without him in the Facing World Cup at the end of last year? He too was using a scoped m60 or AK but it wasn't even in a clanwar, it was in a mix. He served the 3 month ban (sadly I think it may have contributed to him stopping the game) and it took until now that people are seeing that this rule is too harsh? If I'm not mistaken drunkenmonkey also was banned in cups for a similarly small offense. So I say the punishment for these types of glitches should be less.
But for Roma, the rules were as they were when he did this. He must have known it would cause a reaction if he tried to use an m60 sniper. He surely hasn't seen anyone else try that type of BS in a war and get away with it so why should he be entitled to? Man up and face the consequences.
The punishment for these types of glitches should NOT be less. It's a lame thing to do.
